FIDE offers Baku to host 2016 World Chess Olympiad in

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev met with President of the World Chess Federation (FIDE) Kirsan Ilumjinov, apa.az reported.

“FIDE suggests 2016 World Chess Olympiad be held in Baku,” Ilumjinov said.

From August 27-September 10, Istanbul will host 2012 World Chess Olympiad, with Armenia participating.
