Alexandr Dolgopolov beats David Nalbandian at Winston-Salem

PanARMENIAN.Net - Fourth seed Alexandr Dolgopolov is through to Winston-Salem quarterfinal by virtue of his straight-sets victory over 14th seed David Nalbandian. The Ukranian is joined by Belgium’s Steve Darcis, who ousted 5th seed Andy Roddick.

World No. 15 Alexandr Dolgopolov advanced to the quarterfinal after taking out former World No. 3 David Nalbandian. The 23-year-old tallied 8 aces and 3 service breaks through to a 6-3, 6-4 victory in an hour and 16 minutes. Dolgopolov completed the round of 16 with 25 of 31 first-service points captured.

He is scheduled to take on 7th seed Sam Querrey for a place in the semifinal. The American dismissed 9th seed Feliciano Lopez in the third round, 6-3, 6-4, tennistalk.com reported.
