Armenia to host Social Advertising Virtual Festival

PanARMENIAN.Net - At the initiative of Kanachastan NGO, Audio-Visual Reporters Association, Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University, Armenia will host the first ever Social Advertising Virtual Festival (SAVF) in September.

As Kanachastan NGO representative told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, the festival aims to contribute to development of social advertising, enhancement of skills of young specialists and civil activists.

The festival will be held in the framework of “Alternative Resources in Media” project. Applications can be submitted until September 5.

The event will feature presentations in social advertising principles and arrangement basics. The festival is open to students, representatives of civil society groups and initiatives, as well as those interested in the social advertising.

“I think it will be useful if we share the rich experience and the practical skills with the young generation,” Ralph Yirikian said.
Pupils raised bilingually develop a more acute sense for words, even when presented with background chatter in the classroom.
The winners of each category split the prize money of about $1.1 mln. Each winner also receives a diploma and a gold medal.
“I am also encouraged by the emerging women’s leadership, including at the local level,” Helen Clark said in Yerevan.
