Turkey issues note on Armenian Genocide chapter in French texbooks![]() September 5, 2012 - 15:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkey has issued a diplomatic note to France over its decision to include the Armenian Genocide chapter in history and geography textbooks for French secondary schools. Turkey's embassy in Paris issued the note in the form of official letters to the French Foreign Ministry and Education Ministry to protest the inclusion of the chapter, which, according to the embassy was based on “fake documents”. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington. The CSTO budget for the current year requires adjustments due to the refusal of Yerevan to pay their share of contributions. Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees.
