INFORMAL SUMMIT OF CIS HEADS TO BE HELD IN MOSCOW MAY 8

PanARMENIAN.Net - The informal summit of the CIS leaders dated for the 60-th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War will be held in Moscow on May 8, head of the CIS Executive Committee, Executive Secretary Vladimir Rushaylo, who arrived in Armenia March 2 stated, IA Regnum reports. To note, Armenian President Robert Kocharian will take part both in the summit and in the festivities to be held in Moscow on May 9. Vladimir Rushaylo met with the veterans of the Great Patriotic War and those who served on the home front in Yerevan today. Earlier he held similar meetings in Byelorussia and Tajikistan. According to V. Rushaylo, the summit of the CIS leaders will be held late August in the Tatarstani capital city of Kazan, which is celebrating its 1000-th birthday this year. The CIS Executive Secretary also informed that the sitting of the CIS Foreign Ministers will be held in Minsk on March 18 and the Council of the leaders of the CIS parliaments will sit in Tbilisi on April 29.
