RETURNS OF ELECTION SECOND ROUND NOT REFLECTING PEOPLE'S WILL, DEMIRCHIAN CONSIDERS

PanARMENIAN.Net - The returns of the second round of the presidential elections in Armenia do not reflect the people's will due to much gerrymander. Says a statement of candidate for president, People party leader Stepan Demirchian. It notes that the presidential elections were held in an atmosphere of terror and violence, being accompanied by numerous falsifications and transgressions of the electoral legislation. The party leader thanked his electors for the civil activity displayed and called them not to despair, as "legitimate authorities will be formed in Armenia without fail." In his statement Demirchian assured his constituents that he would continue struggle for the sake of triumph of justice.
