KOCHARIAN'S ELECTORAL HEADQUARTERS STATE OPPOSITION REPORTS UNGROUNDED

PanARMENIAN.Net - "To cast a shadow on the second round of the presidential elections in Armenia, the opposing party has put into circulation false and ungrounded reports aiming at misinformation," - says a statement released today by the electoral headquarters of presidential contender, incumbent Armenian president Robert Kocharian. At the same time the statement notes Kocharian's proxies report about illegal actions and attempts to disorganize the operation of district electoral commissions by proxies and supporters of the opponent. Protocols are filed on the basis of corresponding facts to be conveyed to the central electoral commission of Armenia. "Nevertheless, R.Kocharian's headquarters consider the transgressions registered could not tell on the electoral process on the whole," - the statement says. It also notes that before the central electoral commission announces early returns the headquarters will refrain from additional comments.
