First look of Hugh Jackman as “Wolverine” unveiled September 24, 2012 - 22:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The first official image from The Wolverine has been released, Digital Spy reported. Unveiled by the official Marvel Twitter feed, the photograph features Hugh Jackman as Logan/Wolverine, a role which he has played in five previous X-Men films including his cameo in X-Men: First Class. The Wolverine is described as more of a "standalone film" than a direct sequel to 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and finds Logan in Japan as he confronts "a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed". 3:10 to Yuma and Walk the Line helmer James Mangold is directing, while Svetlana Khodchenkova, Will Yun Lee and Brian Tee are among the supporting cast.
