CADRE CHIEFS OF CIS MINISTRIES OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS MEETING IN KRASNODAR TODAY

PanARMENIAN.Net - A conference of chiefs of cadres of Ministries of Internal Affairs of the CIS countries will be held in Krasnodar on 23-24 March. «The main issue to be discussed is expansion of interaction in personnel training,» reported the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. The decision on holding such conferences annually was made at a sitting of the CIS Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs in Kiev last September. The conference participants are expected to pass a decision on submitting the question of working out an inter-state agreement on training of personnel of the CIS Ministries of Internal Affairs to the recurrent sitting of the Council of Ministers to be held in Minsk in April. Besides, the conference participants will pay special attention to the need of more intensive exchange of experience in fighting terror, extremism, trafficking, financial wheeler-dealer finance and high technology crimes. They are also supposed to discuss issues of cooperation in personnel training in border regions and arranging interaction on exchange of experience on training private and junior staff. The conference will be held on the basis of Krasnodar Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The Ministries of Internal Affairs of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan have announced they are going to participate in the conference, the report said.
