Prosperous Armenia to raise Oskanian case at PACE

PanARMENIAN.Net - Prosperous Armenia parliamentary group secretary has expressed readiness to raise the issue of stripping former foreign minister Vartan Oskanian of congressional immunity at Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).

Naira Zohrabyan noted that she intentionally postponed her flight to Strasburg to attend October 1 parliamentary discussions on Oskanian’s case.

On September 27, Armenia’s Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan submitted a proposal to the National Assembly to strip ex-foreign minister Vartan Oskanian of deputy immunity over the Civilitas Foundation money laundering case.
