 28 Stepanakert International Airport                                 Stepanakert airport officially put into operation  October 1, 2012 - 16:15 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - Stepanakert airport has officially been put into operation, head of Nagorno Karabakh civil aviation department said. As Dmitry Atbashyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, the airport received a certificate on September 28, stating it meets the international standards, including the security ones, and is authorized to transport airplanes. Dwelling on the first flight, the official refrained from specifying a date, given the internal technical, organizational and legal issues. “In all probability, the first flight will be operated in October,” Mr. Atbashyan said.
