Elina Danielian beat Baira Kovanova, Lilit Mkrtchian tied a game vs. Marina Romanko, while both Harika Dronavalli and Lele Javakhishvili suffered defeats. Yugra currently leads the tournament, with Mika placed 4th with 1 point. Yerevan chess club will face off against “Cercle d’Echecs” (Monte Carlo) in the next round. European Club Cup will run until Oct 18. The time control in operation is 90 minutes for 40 moves, then 30 minutes until the end of the game with an increment of 30 seconds from the start.
