Man diagnosed with Anthrax in Armenian province

PanARMENIAN.Net - Epidemiological investigation and prevention activities were immediately carried out following the information on the doubtful cases of anthrax recorded in Vardenis town of Armenia’s Gegharkunik province, according to Armenian Health Ministry.

15 out of 17 hospitalized patients underwent medical examination, with one of them diagnosed with anthrax. The condition of other patients is assessed as satisfactory. The epidemiological control has been set. Prevention activities continue.
