EU PERMANENT REPRESENTATION MAY OPEN IN SOUTH CAUCASUS

PanARMENIAN.Net - The European Union is interested in the soonest opening of its permanent representation in the South Caucasian countries, including that in Azerbaijan, Co-Chair of the Committee for Azerbaijan-EU Interparliamentary Cooperation, Europarliament representative Marie-Anne Isler-Begin stated at a Committee meeting in Baku, Interfax-Azerbaijan reported. "One of our main tasks is to open a permanent representation in Azerbaijan," she said. In her words, the EU is interested in the increase of investment into the economy of Azerbaijan, as well as in activation of its role in the Karabakh settlement.
