As Edward Nalbandian stated at parliament, “it’s important for Syria-based Armenians to know that our diplomatic representation is operating not only in Damascus but Aleppo as well, ready to offer help.” Aleppo’s Armenian community listed 60000 people fore the crisis broke out.
