Georgian speaker to contribute to boosting ties with Armenia![]() November 7, 2012 - 16:58 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian ambassador to Georgia Hovhannes Manukyan met with Georgian parliament speaker David Usupashvili on Monday, Nov 5. Appreciating cooperation in the sectors of security, economy, cargo transit, culture and science, the parties emphasized the importance of strengthening regional security and economic integration, with Usupashvili expressing readiness to contribute to further development of bilateral ties. They also dwelled on Georgia’s Armenian community-related issues, with the importance of provision of legal possibilities to address the problems specifically noted. Meetings with parliament vice speakers and the chair of parliamentary committee for foreign affairs Tedo Japaridze was also on Armenian envoy’s agenda. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
