Armenia to announce Boxing Championships line-up in 2 weeks

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian boxing team is currently training for the upcoming Yerevan-hosted 2012 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships in spa town of Tsaghkadzor.

As chief coach DerenikVoskanyan told a > PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, the line-up has almost been determined.

“The squad will be announced in two weeks after the final training session in Abovyan city,” he said.

“10 boxers will represent Armenia at the upcoming championships, with 5-6 of them ready to win medals. The team will comprise European and world champions, as well as winners of different international championships,”Mr. Voskanyan said.

Yerevan will host 2012 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships from November 25-December 8.
