Samvel Grigoryan wins silver at World University Weightlifting Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - The 3rd World University Weightlifting Championship is ongoing in Israeli city of Eilat.

Armenia’s Samvel Grigoryan (77 kg) lifted 149 kg in the snatch and 184 kg in the clean and jerk to win silver with a total result of 333 kg.

Smbat Margaryan (56 kg) and Vanik Avetisyan (69 kg) won bronze earlier.

Vahram Gevorgyan and Aghasi Aghasyan (85 kg) will also represent Armenia on November 8.
