Hollande ready to share French economic expertise with Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - France is the second investor in Armenia with over 100 French businesses operating in the country, French President said.

Francois Hollande noted the agriculture and transportation as the sectors that may benefit from the French expertise and investments.

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, in turn, stressed the need to strengthen relations with the friendly nation of France and expand economic ties.

“Armenia needs France’s support,” russian.rfi.fr. quoted President Sargsyan as saying.

He further expressed gratitude to the French people and government for holding a principal position on the Armenian Genocide recognition issue.
