Expert says Armenia in need of social change![]() November 19, 2012 - 19:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Semi-presidential system of government hindered formation of political forces in Armenia, expert said. “Armenia needs a change in social structure,” Yervand Bozoyan told a press conference, commenting on Prosperous Armenia’s and ARF Dashnaktsutyun’s proposal to shift to parliamentary system of government. Meanwhile, political expert Harutyun Mesrobyan said that opposition forces are in search of own benefits from the shift. “Neither presidential, nor the parliamentary system will be effective for Armenia,” he said, calling for disbandment of the current leadership. Mr. Bozoyan, in turn, slammed the election programs in Armenia, stressing the need to develop and present alternative proposals. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
