CBA head to attend European Banking Congress![]() November 22, 2012 - 16:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) Arthur Javadyan will attend the European Banking Congress (EBC), due November 22-23. Armenian delegation comprises head of CBA Financial System Regulation Department Andranik Grigoryan and chairman of Union of Banks of Armenia (UBA) Ashot Osipyan. Reports will be delivered by President of the European Central Bank Mario Draghi, German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schäuble and head of Deutsche Bundesbank Jens Weidmann. Meetings with heads of the Central Banks and European financial institutions are on the agenda, CBA press service reported. ![]() ![]() Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has “strongly condemned” Armenia’s decision.
