One of the founders of Martuni region’s self defense forces, Ohanyan was among the most outstanding commanders in Artsakh liberation war. Ohanyan had been appointed to a number of command posts since the formation of the Armenian army. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan.
