Areximbank-Gazprombank reports effective risk management in 2012

PanARMENIAN.Net - The integrated risk management system Areximbank-Gazprombank Group adopted in 2010 suggests continuous monitoring of the risk level, risk reporting system, as well as Gazprombank parent organization.

The bank’s policy of risk management aims at supporting the short currency position and the coordination of the maturity of assets and liabilities. As of the 3rd quarter of 2012, the rates of currency and interest risks totaled 0.01% -0.13%, with credit portfolio volume increasing by 18% as compared with the end of 2011.

The introduction of the internal rating system by the end of 2012 will enable the bank to assess the borrowers' creditworthiness, based on a common approach.

“All of the above mentioned measures bring the bank in line with the approach, ensuring the desired profitability,” the bank’s press service reported.
