Russia's Energia completes new remote earth probe satellite building December 26, 2012 - 13:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Rocket and Space Corporation Energia is completing the creation of a new remote earth probe satellite, according to the corporation’s chief designer Vitaly Lopota. He says that the optical part of the satellite is being manufactured jointly with the Peleng Belarusian Company and the EADS-Astrium European space company. The agreement on setting up in Russia a Russian-European joint venture to manufacture communications satellites was signed in 2011, Vioce of Russia reported citing Interfax.
