  Armenia celebrates 21st anniversary of army formation January 28, 2013 - 13:12 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 21 years ago, on January 28, 1992, Armenian government took a decision on the “Ministry of Defense of The Republic of Armenia.” A few months later, in May, 1992, the Defense Ministry declared the first military draft. Today, Armenia celebrates the21st anniversary of army formation. Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin will host a service on Jan 28 on the occasion of the holiday, with Diaspora Armenian high-ranking officials to be present. A wedding ceremony will be held in military pantheon Yerablur.
