Sargsyan campaign headquarters slams passport collection cases![]() January 30, 2013 - 21:38 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The central election headquarters of the incumbent president, presidential candidate of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Serzh Sargsyan issued a statement, condemning the collection of passport data by different persons, if such a thing has ever happened. “In the light of recent media reports suggesting citizens’ passport data are collected by different persons, Serzh Sargsyan central election headquarters condemns any such initiatives, as they adversely affect public confidence in electoral processes. Sargsyan central election headquarters will track each signal of similar cases and take legal measures to make such persons accountable,” the statement reads. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult.
