ARMENIAN PARLIAMENT PASSED PACKAGE OF AMENDMENTS TO CONSTITUTION IN SECOND READING

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Parliament of Armenia has passed the package of amendments to the Constitution of Armenia in the second reading. 98 MPs voted for the document, one abstained, none of those present was against. It should be noted that National Unity and Justice opposition factions did not take part in the vote. The third reading of the amendments will tentatively be held in late September 2005. After 40 days the package of constitutional reforms will be submitted for nation-wide referendum, reported IA Regnum.
