Presidential hopeful: candidates’ unification govt. scenario![]() February 11, 2013 - 15:47 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Possible unification of pesidential hopefuls Raffi Hovannisian, Hrant Bagratyan and Paruyr Hayrikyan wil become a part of a performance, another candidate Arman Melikyan said. “The move aims to distract the citizens from the true problems. The problem is whether Armenia will hold legitimate elections or not. I deem their possible unification absurd,” candidate Melikyan said, dubbing the initiative government’s scenario. Dwelling on Hayrikyan’s addressing the Constitutional Court, he deemed the delay of the polls as additional headache for the ruling authorities. “Candidate Hayrikyan every minute changes his mind, which may be assessed as political trade,” Mr Melikyan said. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
