REGIONAL TIES WITH U.S. TO OPEN PROSPECTS BEFORE ARMENIAN TOWNS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian National Assembly Chairman Artur Baghdassaryan, who is on visit to the U.S., met in Washington with the head of "Sister Cities international" organization. The parties discussed the issues referring to the cooperation between the regions and towns of Armenia and the U.S., press center of the RA NA reported. They agreed on organizing a joint international conference with the participation of representatives of various regions of the United States in 2005 spring. According to Director for Membership and International Relations Mr. Colbracker, the establishment of regional ties will render the Armenian towns a possibility to develop economic, educational, cultural and other fields.
