FM: Armenia reported progress in Association Agreement talks

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia reported serious progress in Association Agreement talks, including in the negotiations aimed at creation of free trade zone, Foreign Minister said.

In interview with Austrian media agency, Edward Nalbandian voiced hope that the negotiations will end by Eastern Partnership summit, due in November.

“We reached visa facilitation agreement with EU in December, with visa free regime to operate for EU citizens starting January. This opens a path for negotiations aimed at lifting visa requirement with the EU,” Minister Nalbandian said.
