Rogozin Accuses Azeri Ambassador in Roughly Interfering with Russian Domestic Affairs
Russian State Duma Deputy Dmitry Rogozin was surprised at Azeri Ambassador Ramiz Rizayev statement, in which the latter expressed concern over xenophobia manifestations in Russia after airing Rodina (Fatherland) Party election promo that urged «to clear rubbish away from Moscow.» «This is not the first time lately when you rather roughly interfere with Russian Federation domestic affairs, imposing your viewpoint on issues you have nothing to do with upon Russian citizens,» Rodina leader stated when addressing Rizayev. Rogozin also commented on election campaign in Azerbaijan, «Statements on democratic values of an official representative of a country, where the major election campaign argument is power, look utterly cynical.»
