Cher completes work on new album, confirms Jake Shears cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Cher has told fans that she has completed work on her upcoming album, Digital Spy said.

The singer is expected to release her 26th studio collection later this year, after facing a number of delays with the project.

Cher also confirmed plans to team up with Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears on the record.

"Got to down & Finish last song ! Then it DONE !! Jakes here putting some parts down & a Harmony ! Must chech it out (sic)," Cher tweeted.

"Played Jason (Jake shears) my cd before he sang on track. He said"it's amazing!"Gotta LOVE THAT! He SOUNDS SO COOL on Song,He's Adorable!"

The next day she added: "Must take shower, then go back down to studio. Mark leaves tomm. This was a lot of Work, but also GREAT FUN ! "I JUST FINISHED MY CD."

Cher has sold more than 100 million solo albums worldwide over the course of her near-50-year career.
