Argentina’s Armenians to march to Turkish embassy![]() April 24, 2013 - 21:34 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian community of Buenos Aires will march to the Turkish embassy on April 24, on the Armenian Genocide commemoration day. In conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, member of the city’s Armenian youth union Yevgenia Hakobian noted that Nobel Peace Prize recipient Adolfo Pérez Esquivel will join the march. “We will call on Turkey to recognize the Armenian Genocide outside the embassy, with Mr. Esquivel also to deliver a speech,” she said, adding that different commemorative events will be organized by Armenian youth unions. “A liturgy is now being held in the central church of Buenos Aires, with another to be served in the Armenian church,” Ms. Hakobian said. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
