Sociologist: RPA, Prosperous Armenia to pass election threshold

PanARMENIAN.Net - Political parties spend large amounts of money on posters and videos during their election campaign, with only some voters, however, following the media reports, head of "Sociometer" center said.

“59 % voter turnout is expected during Yerevan city council elections. 44% of the voters are decided on the polls, 15 % are still undecided, with 23% of the respondents between two minds,” Aharon Adibekyan told a press conference.

“Current Mayor Taron Margaryan has all chances to be reelected, with Prosperous Armenia member Vartan Oskanian facing difficulties in the race,” the sociologist said, voicing confidence that the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and Prosperous Armenia will pass the election threshold.
