 17 01.05.13 - Hello Yerevan bloc of parties held a rally on Freedom Square                      Hovannisian promises surprise on Yerevan city council election day  May 1, 2013 - 17:09 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - The rally organized by Hello Yerevan bloc of parties is ongoing in Liberty Square, with Heritage party leader, former presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian delivering a speech. “May 5 city council elections will change the situation in Yerevan. Our bloc is sure to win in case of free and fair polls,” he said. “We won’t give up. We won’t sell our votes. I will present a surprise on May 5. I stand ready to continue the struggle. Taron Margaryan won’t be reelected to the post of Yerevan mayor. Yerevan will have a new mayor and a new municipality,” Mr. Hovannisian said. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
