PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian scored 5.5 points to win Alexander Alekhine Memorial. Though Boris Gelfand scored the same number of points, Aronian won the tournament by additional points.

Aronian scored 3 wins, tied 5 games and suffered only one defeat during the memorial.
