Turkish company to construct hydroelectric power plant in Javakhk

PanARMENIAN.Net - A Turkish company plans to build a hydroelectric power plant in Javakhk, Milliyet paper reports citing Bloomberg.

Georgian Minister of Energy Kakha Kaladze and Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili conducted negotiations with the representatives of Turkish Anadoly group company, with protocols on the construction of the plant on Parvana river signed. Minister Kaladze noted that the plant will have a capacity of 400-500 megawatts.

The website of Turkey’s energy institute confirmed the information.
