POTENTIAL FOREIGN INVESTORS LEAVE AZERBAIJAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - German businessmen wishing to set up business in Azerbaijan are leaving the country almost immediately after the first attempts. As reported by "Echo" Baku newspaper, German ambassador to Azerbaijan Claus Grevlich stated the other day. In his words, foreign businessmen face serious problems here connected with receiving the license as well as transporting the materials through the customs. Besides, businessmen must be sure that in case problems and controversies arouse, they will be able to settle them in court. Meanwhile the ambassador considers the legal proceedings in Azerbaijan not to be independent completely In Grevlich's opinion, the low purchasing power in Azerbaijan, where according to the statistics, 50% of the population live in poverty, appears no less serious problem. In such a situation production of the potential investors will sipmly not be sold, the ambassador resumed.
