LEBANESE PRESIDENT AND HEAD OF UNION OF RUSSIAN ARMENIANS DISCUSSED PLAN OF CREATING WORLD ARMENIAN ORGANIZATION

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of the Union of Armenians of Russia Ara Abrahamian, who is in Beirut within the framework of measures on creation of the World Armenian Organization, had a meeting with Lebanese president Emil Lahoud. As reported by "ITAR-TASS" agency, A.Abrahamian familiarized the Lebanese leader with the organization creation plan. The president regarded the idea of formation of such an organization with understanding, noting that he took to the heart the problems of Armenians, as his mother and wife were Armenians. Let us note that the constituent congress of the World Armenian Organization is planned to be held in Moscow next October.
