Yuri Barseghov: Armenian Genocide Being Recognized for Second Time Presently

PanARMENIAN.Net - On the initiative of "Mitq", the Union of Armenian Youth a meeting with Director of the Institute of International Law and Political Sciences, professor Yuri Barsegiov was held in the conference hall of the Russian public-political center, reported Yerkramas, the newspaper of Armenians of Russia. The meeting participants discussed a scope of issues including the statute of limitation on the crimes against humanity, Turkey's responsibility and the role of international organizations in the issue. Yuri Barseghov noted the necessity of joining efforts for a unanimous position on the Armenian Genocide recognition issue.



At that the professor underscored that as a matter of fact the leading states recognize the Armenian genocide for the second time at present. He also remarked that despite the indisputable evidence some states still keep on the policy of double standards and hush up the crime of Genocide and this is a crime in itself. In conclusion Yuri Barseghov noted, "Watching the significant work being done throughout the globe for the resolution of the problem I bow to Dashnaktsutyun party."
