The new trailer of James Gray’s “The Immigrant” follows Oscar winner Marion Cotillard, playing a Polish nurse who thinks she’s being saved by Joaquin Phoenix’s character, only to find herself sold into prostitution. Jeremy Renner plays a street magician who falls for her and tries to set her free, Variety said. The period piece premiered to rave reviews at last year’s Cannes Film Festival.
