NAGORNO KARABAKH PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED BEFORE 2005

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Nagorno Karabakh problem will have its political solution before 2005. Such an opinion was expressed by head of the parliamentary delegation of Armenia in the Council of Europe, chairman of the parliamentary commission on external relations Hovhannes Hovhannisian in an interview to "Arminfo" agency. In his opinion, after the coming presidential elections in Armenia and Azerbaijan, the process of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement will probably intensify, and it is quite possible for the parties to arrive at a political solution of the conflict in 2004-2005. Especially taking into account the fact that the negotiations already continue for several years and some positive trends are observed, the deputy noted.
