Armenia to host archery tournament

PanARMENIAN.Net - 272 athletes from 39 countries will compete in the archery tournament throughout the upcoming week in the equestrian sport center located in Armavir region.

The winners will be selected during team and individual competitions. 75 male teams and 47 female teams have already been formed. Both team and individual competitions will be held in Olympic, campout and mixed formats, with participation of Olympic champions, record-holders, multiple world and European champions.

VivaCell-MTS has installed a Wi-Fi hotspot, providing internet speed of up to 50 Mbps in the area of the sports center and supplied the facility with 6 computers and 2 printers. The high-speed Internet will allow broadcasting the competition online on the international web-site of the Archery Federation, and enabling representatives of mass media to cover the event more operatively. Furthermore, Wi-Fi Internet will serve the sportsmen as handy means of exchanging information and communicating with their families.
