Armenia vows tougher measures against Azeri aggression

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Defense Ministry issued a statement over the recent cross-border attacks by the Azerbaijani armed forces at the contact line with Nagorno Karabakh.

“The Azerbaijani armed forces do not stop attacks on the Armenian military positions and inhabited settlements, causing losses on both sides. The Armenian Defense Ministry states that such behavior undermines the peace process going on under the aegis of the OSCE Minsk Group and can trigger large-scale hostilities,” the ministry said, urging Azerbaijan to put an end to actions that escalate the situation at the line of contact.

Otherwise, the ministry said, “the Armenian armed forces will have to take tougher measures to counteract the senseless revenge attempts by the Azerbaijani leadership.”
