  Putin rules to ink Armenia's Eurasian Economic Union accession treaty September 1, 2014 - 19:12 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian President Vladimir Putin ruled to sign a treaty on Armenia's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union. The President ruled "to consider it expedient to sign the Treaty, as provided by the order, at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council at the level of Heads of States." Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev’s visit to Armenia was cancelled, Armenian Prime Minister stated. According to Hovik Abrahamyan, a discussion on Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union, scheduled to take place in Yerevan at ministerial level, was now rescheduled to be held in Minsk at presidential level, Armenian media reported. Earlier, Kazakh leader announced that the issue of Armenia’s and Kyrgyzstan’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union will be resolved at the October 10 negotiations in Belarusian capital Minsk.
