AS WTO MEMBER ARMENIA WILL NOT IMPEDE AZERBAIJAN'S ACCESSION TO WTO

PanARMENIAN.Net - As a member of the World Trade Organization Armenia will not create ungrounded obstacles to Azerbaijan at its accession to the WTO. Armenian minister of trade and economic development Karen Chshmaritian stated it. In his words, the WTO is not a political body, via which pressure can be put upon other countries. At the same time the minister admitted the opportunity of "need for additional negotiations when receiving the draft of the Azeri party's request." "Nevertheless, the matter will concern only issues provided for by the procedure of accession of new members to the WTO," - he emphasized.
