According to Artsrun Hovhannisyan, the Armenian side returned fire only in case of necessity. About 800 ceasefire violations by Azeri side were reported at the line of contact between Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) and Azerbaijani armed forces from Nov 30-Dec 6.
