"The Gunman" action trailer features Sean Penn, Javier Bardem

PanARMENIAN.Net - An action flick starring Sean Penn, "The Gunman", has released the first trailer ahead of its release next year. The 2-minute action-packed video, premiered on Thursday, December 11 via Yahoo! Movie, shows Penn being hunted by his own team, AceShowbiz said.

In the movie, Penn plays a sniper who threatens to expose his own group after being hunted. He is seen having an argument with Javier Bardem, fighting with people and telling his lover about his job. "I did some bad things," he says, to which she replies, "Tell me."

Idris Elba also makes an appearance in the trailer. "You ever have one of those days when everything's wrong and everyone wants to kill you for something?" he asks.

"The Gunman" is adapted from a novel "The Prone Gunman" by Jean-Patrick Manchette. Directed by Pierre Morel ("Taken"), it also stars Ray Winstone, Mark Rylance and Jasmine Trinca among others. It opens in U.S. theaters on March 20.
