GAMBLING ESTABLISHMENTS MOVING OUT OF YEREVAN AND ARMENIAN CITIES

PanARMENIAN.Net - Beginning with today gambling establishments are being moved out of Yerevan and Armenian cities due to implementation of the law on "Casino and games with prizes." As deputy minister of finance and economy Davit Avetisian told "Arminfo" agency, 22 firms have addressed the ministry making requests for continuing operation at another addresses, 3 casinos and 3 gambling salons declared about complete cessation of activities. In the deputy minister's words, 45 gambling salons and 5 casinos are registered in the republic by today. Let us note that within the 7 months of the current year tax revenue from gambling business made $1.168 million compared to the $1.664 million for the same period last year.
