The document says in part, "We confirmed that the G8 supports the mediating efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group (Russia, the United States and France) and stressed the necessity of soonest coordination of the principles of a peaceful settlement in 2006. We call on Azerbaijan and Armenia to demonstrate political will, achieve an agreement and prepare their public for peace but not for war."![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
